Their logic is flawless??? Not.
So we had a shutdown because Republicans didnt want people to have healthcare, so now they are going to let those same people vote on it later, when the shutdown was because they don’t want to give subsidies for healthcare…

Thank you, Jane Goddall

Such leadership.

How much is $4billion to Disney? They’re worth nearly $205billion. 2%? Probably not nearly enough.

Ginger sprouting. This is the largest piece of ginger root that I’ve ever seen for sale. I’m surprised that it wasn’t broken. I bought the bag because it’s sprouting and—even though it’s a bit late in the season—it will soon go into the ground.

We are not worthy?
Under Reagan's tax cuts, the average tax cut for the top 1% was 68x larger than the average cut for middle-class households.

Under Bush's tax cuts, it was 16x larger.

And under Trump, 36x larger.

The GOP has always governed for the privileged few.

My question is what do we do next?
I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Again, are they really not connecting the dots? Or do they want to see what happens when the price of cherries (and other fresh produce) goes through the roof?
Cherry farmers in my district in The Dalles are leaving hundreds of tons of cherries to rot because workers are too afraid of ICE raids to come harvest.

This is what happens when cruelty becomes policy. It hurts everyone.

They’re really not connecting the dots? Or do they want to see what happens when the price of strawberries (and other fresh produce) goes through the roof?
BREAKING: Massive ICE raid ongoing at a farm in Camarillo, Ventura County, CA.

Local news reports that an unknown number of workers have been detained.

Almost 20% of US strawberries come from the county. US food supply at risk from Trump’s fascist thugs & Stephen Miller’s quota.

Echinopsis (Trichocereus) pachanoi

Apparently, this first flower wasn’t pollinated. Not sure if it’s because the flower was hidden in Desert Willow (Chilopsis linearis) branches or whether there were no pollinators in the area. It fell to the ground a week ago.
