My roommate currently has Young Sheldon playing on the tv while also scrolling through tiktok and both are so loud I can hear everything through my bedroom door down the half from the living room.

A student was disappeared from my neighborhood two days ago. The community is fighting for her but this is terrifying. We need to do everything in our power to protect our neighbors from ICE
They are just disappearing people off the street. Having a hard time thinking about literally anything else.

Last night while stopped at railroad crossing during a snow storm I saw a guy carrying a beer cooler run down the sidewalk, duck under barrier and run across the icy tracks moments before the train came through. It was such a deeply Massachusetts moment.

I very rarely wear makeup and yet it was almost impossible for me to fit everything I want to take with me in my move into one caboodle. In fact I’m bringing a filled to the brim caboodle plus a tote with my brushes and palettes.

the lesson of the election isn’t “we should give up on trans rights,” it’s that the GOP took an issue that negatively impacted almost no one and made it a headliner. why would it help to surrender on an issue if they can create a grievance from thin air?

I’m not really ready to announce, announce this but so few people follow me here I’m going to soft announce that I got a full time library job and found an apartment just outside Boston. I haven’t signed the contract or lease yet so I don’t want to tell everyone yet but I’m cautiously optimistic
