As a kid in the 80s/90s, I always wanted to play D&D but never had the friend group. The closest I got was convincing my two besties to play MTG (a thing we still do 30+ years later) but I now have my family at my disposal and there are also solo-play rulesets.

To occupy our downtime, inspired by sport-ball happenings, we created our own brackets and the winner for Best Film Ever was Groundhog Day, a result that remains objectively true.

We’re taking a TV break and my 5 year old is upset, saying she’s not eating unless there’s entertainment… I suggested music. She said “that’s not entertain!” and I said, “ok. well, I’m not going to dance for you. haha.” and her response “DANCE! DANCE! YOU WILL DANCE! COMEBACK HERE AND DANCE! DANCE!”
