I can't stand games that hide their deepest secrets just by making them more obscure. It is *not* the only way to add secret layers to your game. Secrets are not an excuse to throw good game design out the window. They can still be clear and follow an interesting deductive process.

So, “Order of the Sinking Star” by Thekla was just announced, which takes several small free games (two of which are mine) and gives them a major graphical upgrade and mashes up their rulesets. I haven’t been very involved but it’s a great concept and looks cool.

Wow, played a bunch of great games on stream today!
First off, Toroban, a sokoban game with infinitely wrapping levels. As mind-bending as you'd expect and it very quickly goes to cool meta places which I really enjoyed.

Had a lot of fun trying out MotionRec! If you liked ElecHead and Ooo, this is one to take a look at.
