An alert to all creatives using #WeTransfer. Basically, stop immediately! As of August, they will begin scraping everything you send for AI purposes (see the new paragraph in their Terms and Conditions below).

If, like me, you’re a voice artist, they’ll clone your voice. Avoid at all costs.

I grew up with bushfires in the Blue Mountains (Australia), and today's news reminds me of the horrors we faced locally in 2013, then all over Australia in 2019-20 -- a fire season that made all previous ones look insignificant.

I cannot believe we are still 'arguing' about climate change...

For all those providing reviews of scientific papers–firstly, thank you. We would not have a useful scientific literature without you. Secondly, please keep in mind that your reviews are read not only by the PIs but also students. There is no place for anger or impolite language in a review.... 1/

Each week the RSC-CNN comittee selects a great new nanosci paper

Here, self-assembled nanospheres of iridium complexes were created, which direct the metal atoms inwards. Upon reduction, small Ir-nanoclusters (1.8nm) can be created with very narrow size distribution, with catalytic utility

Good morning, Bluesky. Today’s #GoodMorningNews: a trial at Washington University’s school of medicine has shown great results for a vaccine that would prevent recurrence for a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer. It’s a small trial, but 3 years later 16/18 participants remain cancer free
