👋 Intro time!

I'm a Canadian software dev and entrepreneur.

Now I'm a founding engineer at qpoint.io and writing tons of Go and eBPF (in C).

Outside of work I have a two golden retrievers I spend most of my time with and I like messing around with home labs!

Saw this, looked up @tigerbeetle.com , what a cool product!
As announced on the Systems Distributed 25 website, TigerBeetle has generously donated 8k USD to ZSF.

Thank you Joran & team for both the donation and for hosting a conference of rare quality.

Every so often my monitor has this weird persistence issue where there is a blue ghost of whatever I was looking at. It fades over ~30 minutes. It appears instantly, usually when I'm moving between light and dark mode windows.

What is this called?

The Truth is on the Wire
