Fishing in the river, fishing in the river, fishing in the river of life.
The first few minutes of this give a good idea of what a shitshow SWFC was under Chansiri.
As we head into the international break, joint administrator Kris Wigfield has provided an update for supporters

We so wanted this government to be good. But where the Tories were deliberately and malevolently terrible, this Labour government just seems incompetent and impotent.

Would love to see Trump in court arguing that he didnt encourage the events of Jan 6.
Have written for the New Statesman about why, if he will not accept an apology, the BBC should welcome a Trump lawsuit. They should show guts and fight it because impartially matters and if they don't, they will have tacitly accepted a rewritten history.

Well, i'm sure that will be the end of that then.
Premier League referees' chief Howard Webb has backed his officials, saying it was "not unreasonable" for Virgil van Dyk's goal to be disallowed for offside against Manchester City.

Webb also supported the VAR decision not to change the on-field call.

SUPERB and angrily unvarnished response, by former BBC chairman, Lord Patten.

Right conclusions, wrong reason.
The UK Parliament is ugly as fuck. Can we perhaps build a new one, something a tad bit more modern? Turn the old one into a museum or a supermarket or something.

Anna Turley should just call it what it is - racism.
Reform UK MP Sarah Pochin has apologised for offence she may have caused by saying "it drives me mad when I see adverts full of Black people, full of Asian people".

Nothing warms my heart as much as seeing someone doing this. The world is *full* of people doubling down on shit they don’t even believe out of a sense of pride, and seeing someone graciously acknowledge being wrong, in full public view, is quite inspiring.
Reminder that Violent J of Insane Clown Posse has the correct response to a lot of the shitty things he said in the early days.

Andrew is a Prince. You can't strip him of that, he was born into it. If you believe in a royal family you have to accept all of them, even those accused of abuses.

Be my guest if that makes you want to debate whether we should have a royal family at all.

If Labour are wondering why their voters are turning to Green, look no further than this bullshit.
“We welcome those who come to this country, legally, and give more than they take. We believe the right to stay here must not be automatic, but that those who play their part should be able to earn that right."

In three or so years these people could be running the country's finances. 😱
Amazing story in The Times. Reform UK failed to pay VAT to HMRC on its sales (tickets, merchandise). About £400k in all.

Not tax avoidance. Not tax evasion. They just didn't realise when you sell stuff you have to charge VAT.

Bad mental health doesn't cause racism, and thats what he needs to address.

Like Gregg Wallace and his autism, here's someone doing a disservice to those that do suffer with poor mental health.
A lot that could be said about this but if you look on Twitter it’s noticeable that the replies and quote tweets are *overwhelmingly* telling him he shouldn’t have apologised and even attacking him for doing so. That’s the feedback loop certain users are plugged into now, and it has consequences.

Think we’ve crossed a pretty major threshold – and a very bad one – if a journalist working in the lobby for a major newspaper group can tweet like this without professional consequences.

The BBC are accidentally running the subtitles to Mrs Marple over the Mercury Prize, and it’s rather wonderful. A few of lines could plausibly have been written by Jarvis.
