I just don’t think we’re freaking out enough about this SNAP cut. I have spent my whole career working with people who rely on SNAP for food. People who work multiple jobs. Who have kids. What do you think happens when 1/8th of the population can’t buy food anymore? Everything is going to collapse.

After Israel's new wave of bombings in Gaza that killed 109+ Palestinians, Taqwa Ahmed Al-Wawi, a writer/poet in Gaza, spoke to 60 residents in Gaza for @theintercept.com to ask whether they think the "ceasefire" is holding. Nearly all said "THERE IS NO CEASEFIRE."

ICE targeted Leqaa Kordia for protesting the war in Gaza. To keep her in detention for six months and counting, the Trump administration made her get sworn affidavits from family members in Palestine about money Leqaa sent them for food, fuel, and medical bills.

My latest digs into how Trump’s “peace plan” for Gaza joins a litany of U.S.-brokered deals in which Palestinian rights are sidelined for Israeli control. The deal allows Israel to indefinitely occupy Gaza and resume its genocidal campaign at any point, experts said.

My latest: As the United Nations convened in NYC this week, 10 new countries recognized Palestine as a state. Despite this, these 5 nations still ship WEAPONS TO ISRAEL, funding the genocide in Gaza. Critics called this a "performance of justice."

Rep. Deborah Ross of NC confirmed that she won't accept AIPAC donations in the 2026 midterms, following fellow NC Dem, Rep. Valerie Foushee. Ross previously took more than $100,000 from AIPAC.
