Watching David Beckham’s Boss ad and am concerned he’s going to have a flat battery. Why is he eating cereal? Why is he wearing undies in the shower? Why doesn’t he have curtains?
I have watched the advert several times and I am still no clearer. I shall keep watching hoping for a breakthrough.

21 substitutes in today’s Asda shop. That’s about a 1/3 of my order! Next year I’m just going to send someone into the shop with some cash and say ‘Surprise me!’ 😂 (we have Turkey, wine and cheese so we’ve got the bases covered)

I’m writing a Christmas novel I accidentally started on the train when I was visiting my sick mum (this is very much NOT on my to do list). Gimme your favourite Christmas book/ film tropes. I’m avoiding rich writers who buy castles in Scotland but anything else is fair game.

Managed to get home before the storm hit. Greeted by this sight at the airport. Alas, they weren’t there for me. But, for avoidance of doubt, this is how I want to be met off the plane from now on.
