21 substitutes in today’s Asda shop. That’s about a 1/3 of my order! Next year I’m just going to send someone into the shop with some cash and say ‘Surprise me!’ 😂 (we have Turkey, wine and cheese so we’ve got the bases covered)

Managed to get home before the storm hit. Greeted by this sight at the airport. Alas, they weren’t there for me. But, for avoidance of doubt, this is how I want to be met off the plane from now on.

Went for a run this morning. Smugness levels are high, bordering on unbearable. Now to write that essay I’ve been putting off 😬

Yesterday I finished reading Over My Dead Body by Maz Evans and, let me tell you, it is GLORIOUS!! I laughed, I cried, and it made me insanely happy. (Most of the books I read leave me feeling slightly anxious and worried about the state of the world if I’m honest 😂)

Today the cat and I are huddled together for warmth while we try to meet our word count for the day. She is never going to get the first draft of her novel done by Christmas at this rate. #authors #writers #books #cats

I’m writing about my fave reads of the year. Demon Copperhead is an easy one because I read it recently so it’s fresh in my mind - but I’m struggling to remember any other books I’ve read. Ever. Can anyone help a girl out with their favourite reads of the last few months to jog my memory?
