Ugh, 30°+ days seems to regular now. These kind of temperatures used to be few and far between, now *really hot* summers are seeming standard. Can't bear it. The planet is heating at cheetah speed and leaders are moving at tortoise pace to do anything.

Couldn't agree more, but it's not just the BBC. Most of the weekend papers seem to be enthralled by the idea of Farage as next PM. Part of how we got to where we are now.
Still waiting for Farage-mesmerised BBC to devote more than passing sentence to fact that Greens have more councillors than Reform and that Ed Davey's Lib Dems have all bit wiped out the Tories in their traditional shire heartlands....
