I realised this week that there is an enormous amount of effort from a lot of the British press, to stir the general public into a reaction to any government policy or plans. It seems like the goal is to cause a reaction based on readership bias first and possibly inform them on the facts later...

It's an interesting dynamic. Richer countries who largely eradicated poverty on the back of the industrial revolution (fossil fuels)...asking smaller less wealthy countries to be more green when they're just trying to raise their standard of living.
