A European Army is not likely any time soon, I reckon. More feasible: a unified command structure for a Coalition of Allied Forces in support of Ukraine. Troops on Ukrainian soil to free up ЗСУ combat units. Security Guarantees by all members, bilaterally.

Security Guarantees are essential, and sadly, the USA seems not to understand that rewarding Putin puts Taiwan and all free nations, in jeopardy from Imperialist autocracies.

If NATO membership for Ukraine is blocked, European states must step forward and sign mutual defence treaties with Ukraine - and put troops into Western Ukraine to free up AFU forces to redeploy East and South.

If Mr Trump wants the metals and minerals of the Donbass for American industry, give Ukraine the military tools and the money to evict the murderous russian invaders who are trying to steal Ukrainian wealth. Return to the 1991 borders, with security guarantees, will be a BIG WIN for America.

Equip the ten Ukrainian Brigades who lack the weaponry to join the battle. NATO has the materiel but lacks the will. Only then let's talk about conscripting under-25 Ukrainians.
