Live, directed recording sessions are so electric. I love recording alone and really getting lost in my imagination, but collaborating with someone else who’s so passionate about the script really brings out incredible discoveries. 3 hour sessions just fly by.

When I was a kid, I drew comics, but no one could read them. So in 5th grade I decided to get some grid paper and design an all-caps handwriting where every letter was the exact height and width of the boxes to mimic what I saw in comic books. Still proud of Kid Me for putting in that effort
Did anybody else design their handwriting? I was like 22 and embarrassed at how childish my handwriting was, so I worked out how I wanted it to look and would just sit there writing the same letter over and over and over until I'd retrained my hand.

When Twitter started promoting literal Nazi shit in my feed I knew I couldn’t even passively use it anymore.
The biggest endorsement I can make for Bluesky is that replacing Twitter with this app on my phone probably improved my general mood when I’m on my phone by 20-25%. I know there are better reasons but it is what it is!

Thunderbolts* is entertaining and predictable at the surface level, a bit messy in ways that aren’t so obvious, and held together with a very strong theme of the need for connection in the face of low self worth, loneliness, and suicidal ideation that permeates every angle.
