I was a movie theatre manager for a long time. Once, in 1998 or 1999, I was working at my cinema in downtown Toronto. I arrived at work late on a Friday night (tardy), in the middle of a rush. I went the office and the phone was ringing off the hook. I answered it and a woman asked for the manager.
