I think the bigger lesson here was that someone needed to keep that woman off ships. After the second one it should have been done just as a precaution.

An endemic problem with American capitalism is how the vast majority of large investors and C-suite managers are incapable of envisioning any business model other than "I have an unregulated monopoly with low labor costs." When these plans fail, they have no idea what to do but cut labor costs more.
