20 years ago I reported on scramblers being ridden across a football pitch while game was being played. It wasn’t a simple drive across, but spinning back wheels on surface ritting and damaging turf while endangering the players and spectators.

Today is anniversary of Storm Éowyn.
We lost power for 10 days,water & mobile for 4 and broadband for 8
I’d to drive to Mullingar to get coverage to let people know we were safe but out of power.
Eldest arrived with a generator on the Monday so we had heating restored and medical equipment powered
