SCHUMER: Would the senator yield for a question?

BOOKER: Chuck Schumer, it's the only time in my life I can tell you no

SCHUMER: I just want to tell you, do you know you have just broken the record? Do you know how proud America is of you?

Elon Musk spent millions in a failed scheme to buy a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat.

Voters decisively rejected Donald Trump, Musk and the rapidly deteriorating Republican brand.

Back up off the American people.

Sen. Booker’s speech was a substantive and moral account of this moment. He did not read the phone book. He did not babble.
For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity.

What will you do?

A lesson, there.

what booker is doing right now is an example of what i mean when i say things like “we need more ambition right now.” there is room in american politics right now for people with ambition to take big stands and reap the rewards. he’s doing it!

Senator Cory Booker is only a few hours away from breaking Strom Thurmond's record for the longest speech on the Senate floor (24 hours and 18 minutes).

Every single Democratic Senator needs to be like Senator Michael Bennet out there helping Cory with his filibuster!

Come on, Cory!!!!!

This is amazing.
I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:

I don’t think this is a huge win, but my hunch early on was that Roberts would swing back hard against executive abuse. For all of his terrible votes during Biden’s presidency, he hates the “politicization of the court”, which is basically the whole P2025 end game, right?
In a rare statement, Chief Justice John Roberts called judicial impeachment "not an appropriate response" to disagreeing with a judge's decision.

He made the comments after Trump called for the impeachment of a federal judge who blocked the administration's deportation flights. to.pbs.org/43RBatE

I want to point something out.

Two things happen today at the exact same time

1st, 10 Ds voted to censure Al Green.

2nd, a huge group of Democrats standing in the well in solidarity with Al Green and singing “we shall overcome”

Which do you think more people are talking about?
