I recently gave @astrolabe.ooo a visual overhaul I'm pretty proud of. I wanted to take nothing away from the universe viz but make it more grounded and better match the aesthetics of everything we've published over the last 3(!) years. And hopefully show we're in it for the long haul.

Also, I finished reading your book about 2 weeks ago and really loved it—so cool to see how this place, varied as it already is, inspired such a different approach to place.

And to give you just *one* reason to consider it for now, I had to include an incredibly kind blurb from Kate Bernheimer, who led me into a new understanding of fairy tales and what they mean for my writing, and so much else~~

Thanks so much for sharing this one again! The voids are indeed *much* fun when they're complete mysteries.

27. Eek I forgot to mention the excellent "Mouth, Wormhole, Window" by @joelhans.com, which I love for a lot of reasons unrelated to this but, as a lesson: If there's an interdimensional void in the backyard, I don't need any infodumping as to how it got here.

Well if @lollardfish.bsky.social says so then I will! You can now preorder Every Galaxy a Circle. It's a collection of speculative short stories about space and monsters and memories and ghosts. I think it is pretty good and there is a loving description of pie in it.
