This painting I made of an Ethiopian warrior queen, was created nearly ten years ago, at a time when most of my portfolio was still inconsistent and not as solid as I wanted it to be.
This piece however, stood out from my other work on a technical and design level, which helped 1/2

Another portrait I painted for the Numenera RPG in 2023. The Goal was to experiment with different lighting sources, (through hues and value intensity) to tell a story. Very grateful for the opportunity and artistic freedom to paint these characters!

Another portrait I painted for the RPG Numenera back in 2023. For this piece the key element I wanted to experiment with was mood. I wanted multiple light sources that interact with the character and tell a story by themselves.

Hope you like it!

Best,

Another portrait I made in 2023 for Numenera, by Monte Cook games. Had a great time working on these series and I learned a lot when it comes to adding personality and characteristics to my portraits.

Painting I made in 2022 as a concept for my “Temple Guardian” illustration (see comments).
Over the years, I’ve gradually shifted toward more illustrative work for my characters, with richer backgrounds and a stronger focus on storytelling. 1/3

This painting was created in 2023 for Monte Cook Games. Around that time, I was aiming to expand my portfolio to include more sci-fi and mech-focused work, and assignments like this one helped a lot with that goal-

Here is my #artvsartist2025 !
A relatively quiet year in terms of posting new work. Besides a few personal pieces and sharing some older freelance assignments everything is still under NDA.
Should have more to share in 2026 though! Hope you all have a blessed newyear.

Magneto! Painted in 2022 for Upper Deck. I’m not sure if the card was ever released, but this illustration was an absolute blast to work on regardless. I’ve always loved the X-Men, and Magneto is my favorite Marvel character - 1/2

Character I painted from some years ago, inspired by the medieval Kingdoms of Mali! It was fun to research contemporary artifacts and apparel in preparation of this design, and my series of character designs set in ancient Africa.
Hope you like the piece!
All the best,

Let's start decorating the new home base.
Moving to a new social media platform does feel a bit like taking a space ship to outer space.

Here comes my "I am alive, this is my art" signal.

Goblin! I had the pleasure to illustrate multiple characters for the Cypher System Bestiary by Monte Cook Games some years ago. As I wasn't as proficient with creature design, this was a fun challenge where I learned a lot when it comes to gestures, silhouettes and proportion.

New painting I finished a few weeks ago.
I took several months off from art in general over summer after dozens of failed job applications and failed art test for a major IP.
Decided to do something for myself and came up with this mtg-esque zombie hydra.

Once every while I like to paint portraits for gaming companies and book projects! This character was painted for Monte Cook Games 3 years ago or so. I got a lot of freedom with this assignment and I enjoyed the process throughout.

I’m happy to share this painting I created a few years ago for Mythic Battles: Isfet. The game is a miniature-based board game set in ancient Egypt, and I had the pleasure of illustrating several historical figures.

I’m happy to share my latest painting: Goddess of the Canvas!
She embodies the Promethean fire of creation: a divine spark that both gives life and consumes it. She paints new worlds into existence, only to be engulfed by the same flames that fuel her art.

Ilk Gokturk!

I had the pleasure to create some concept art for this movie some years ago (2019)! The movie is about the rise of the Gokturk Khaganate in early medieval times, the largest empire the world had seen at the time. Looking forward to watch it on HBO when it comes out!

A bellated halloween post!

This is a piece I made earlier this year, inspired by my appreciation for horror movies. As this genre is heavily outside my comfortzone it took some time to study the subject matter, but I am happy how this relatively small illustration turned out!

Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein is by far the best film I’ve seen all year.
This masterful retelling of the classic story feels both timeless and ahead of its time, perfectly balancing innovation with a rich, old-world atmosphere. 1/2
