I’m genuinely impressed by the new Game of Thrones spinoff, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Having enjoyed the novellas greatly, I can confidently say this is a near-perfect adaptation. It stays faithful to the source material while expanding the story in all the right places -

A painting from five years ago: a D&D bard inspired by medieval Mongolia. A throat singer, playing the morin khuur, the horsehair fiddle. Around that time, I discovered a cool band called The Hu which was another significant influence for this piece!

Another portrait I painted for the Numenera RPG in 2023. The Goal was to experiment with different lighting sources, (through hues and value intensity) to tell a story. Very grateful for the opportunity and artistic freedom to paint these characters!

Another portrait I painted for the RPG Numenera back in 2023. For this piece the key element I wanted to experiment with was mood. I wanted multiple light sources that interact with the character and tell a story by themselves.

Magneto! Painted in 2022 for Upper Deck. I’m not sure if the card was ever released, but this illustration was an absolute blast to work on regardless. I’ve always loved the X-Men, and Magneto is my favorite Marvel character - 1/2

Goblin! I had the pleasure to illustrate multiple characters for the Cypher System Bestiary by Monte Cook Games some years ago. As I wasn't as proficient with creature design, this was a fun challenge where I learned a lot when it comes to gestures, silhouettes and proportion.
