EVERYONE in the games media and games content creator sphere should be talking about MasterCard, Visa, Steam, Itchio, and #SaveSpeech

EVERYONE! IT'S THAT IMPORTANT!!

Local feel-good story about some rude neighbor calling the cops because neighborhood kids had a lemonade stand. Screw those people who called.

Apparently doordash can't deliver my fast food order. 90 minutes and counting. For some burgers. It's likely to be freezing by the time it gets here, if it gets here at all.

Because we live in upside down world, these were the cheapest eggs at my local grocery store. 3.99 a dozen.

I've been meaning to dive into Godot. Python is my language of choice, and GDScript is similar, so it shouldn't be too much of a chore.

Holy cow that's neat. What language did you use? Also: I use Markdown for just about everything these days so thumbs up for markdown!

Feel better soon!

I coded a map editor that uses existing map images as a base.

It auto-syncs the map key to a markdown document in real-time, meaning you can write the content in external editors easily, while still seeing the spatial relations of the rooms!

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce that tapir Yuna gave birth to a rare and endangered Malayan tapir calf Sunday night. The newborn, covered in distinctive white spots and stripes resembling a fuzzy walking watermelon, is only the second tapir born in our 120-year history.

I remember when you used to be able to walk in a random direction in any city and find a used bookstore. They were everywhere.

Just a reminder to all the new folks that Neil Gaiman has been credibly accused of sexual assault by five different women, and is almost certainly working behind the scenes with his PR firm to bury the story.

Don’t let him. And don’t follow him. More here:

Yeah, this is over the line. I almost hit unsubscribe when he reviewed the recent LofTFP product, but this was enough to get me to finally unsubscribe to the channel and the newsletter.

I haven't picked up Demon the Fallen because I'm not sure how it'll fit with the Mage chronicle I'm about to start up, but it does fascinate me for sure. If you had to give a reason, what do you think makes you obsess over it?

Oh man, I love In Nomine. The art really sells it for me. I'm not sure I like the system that much, but it's certainly a lot of fun to play.

I really want to play Ars Magica. Almost backed the recent kickstarter for the "Definitive Edition" but we just moved to a new place so money is tight. I'll get that game one of these days. The Troupe style play sounds amazing.

Yeah, I really want to run or play Pendragon, but never found people locally who were interested.
