Partner got a call about a grebe last night, which apparently saw a big puddle in a parking lot, thought it was a larger body of water, landed and then got stuck because they can't take off from land
So he was for sure like

Overarching canon and the need to adhere to "lore" feels way overblown anymore, and is especially not needed in a series where the main draw is cool cars, hot babes, and witty one liners
