None of this makes American military intervention justified. This whole thing is illegal, insane, and risky.
But it's also done. The only option now is for Venezuela's duly-elected government to take over. If Trump makes that conditional on oil concessions, that's a whole other realm of bad.

As you might expect, it is a book that is as antiwar as you can get, but I was absolutely horrified reading it by the parallel I could draw with our current times.
The book not only offer us a history lesson, but a warning: it shows both the playbook of fascism & it’s disastrous consequences.

Saw a video of Stanley Tucci making a sandwich and thought, “that seems simple and delicious”. Pretty much Italian loaf, pesto, prosciutto, mozzarell, tomato, butter and add to a pan like grilled cheese. I have eaten more than one, a glass of red wine and not sure I’m gonna make it to midnight.
