Woke up super early from jet lag (from Ohio, the least glamorous jet lag) which would have been great if I hadn’t stayed up late reading to “beat the jet lag.” Now I’m just sleep-deprived. Last night me was so idiotic.

I was a PMF in 1993, (then PMI). I had the most interesting career in public service at the State Department because of their program. This is such a shame.
Ending the Presidential Management Fellows program is one of those really obvious things that illustrates how this is nothing more than the active destruction of the U.S. government

Meeting with congressional staffers advocating for education and hearing that the phone call levels they are getting are unprecedented, like 150 a day. And that the phones calls are an effective action.

Tonight school board directors are at kindergarten info nights and I gasped so loud when they said next year’s kids are class of 2038 the whole room looked at me. 😳

I just can’t help but think the fact that I snapped awake at 5:50 (2.5 hours before I needed to) is going to come back and get me, tiredness-wise. I am too old for this little sleep.
