Big respect for Charlotte for playing for, well, herself.
FYI: The BBC has revealed the charities #TheCelebrityTraitors were all competing for, with links so that you can donate.

This is my tribute to my friend and bandmate Dave Ball. I've used various instruments that we used together, to create some sparse, meditative and reflective music.
Rest In Peace Dave. See you on the other side.

Such larks in the lobby.
I am obliged to report that when the No 10 spokesman gave this part of the statement there was a brief but heartfelt outbreak of laughter from journalists, one of whom later asked if the PM might thus be interested in a bridge he had to sell.

Absolutely amazing evening at @liverpoolphil.bsky.social last night for the homecoming of Sir Simon Rattle and the brilliant Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra doing Schumann and a bone-rattling, joyful, exhilarating Stravinsky (Firebird).

Food for the soul, and a bloody privilege to be there.

How can we expect the UK education secretary to properly improve early years provision if she doesn’t even have a view on a municipal election in another country? For shame.

He won the Mayoralty so congratulations to him for winning the trust of the voters. As we know, power brings responsibility and so I wish him well in taking on that public service and leadership challenge.

Do you all have spreadsheets that tell you exactly when you bought particular LPs and how many times you’ve seen specific films?

How is this stuff in all your heads? I literally can’t remember what film I watched on Saturday night.

Exactly this. Pretending calling him something else matters in the slightest.

Letting all the others involved off the hook.
Speaks to the consequence free lifestyle the royals have created for themselves with the help of the media that "you aren't allowed to call yourself a prince any more" is touted as a meaningful punishment for being embroiled in vile sex crimes that ended up in at least one woman taking her own life.

X1000%.

You’re a voter. Act like one. Politics will not work if you don’t.
Stop acting like you are an election strategist or a media analyst and just express your policy desires!

Spent a happy ten minutes howling at replies to Private Eye jokes and cartoons: “alternative caption: x” “or you could have said x!” “or x, more like!”. There are all, without exception, a less funny variation of the actual joke or a comment so desperately unfunny, the cringe can be seen from Mars.

Should say it’s not the post I’m quoting I’m getting at, I broadly agree with it, but the replies, comments, blogs, etc that “it’s focus grouped!” “Not authentic!” “Don’t believe he likes classical music/soul/fey Scottish indie” stuff which has been everywhere since Private Passions was announced.
Yes Orange Juice is obviously a selling point for votes, famously so, and Keir Starmer can't possibly ACTUALLY like them.

Not like us, cool journalists. Our taste is authentic and curated. His is definitely fake.
Someone has told Starmer he needs to talk about Orange Juice.

They’ve obviously realised the loyal liberal 40-60 vote they really, really need and are fast losing.
