If you’d said 20, 30, 40 years ago that we’d get a Liza Minnelli autobiography on the occasion of her 80th birthday, we’d never have believed you.

Isn’t it great?

Enjoying #TheArchers ripping right through the utter bollix of the wellness guru people and the hypocrisy of the “be kind” bullies.

Jake Humphries fist pumping, with Steven Bartlett nodding along with that cold, constipated glare that someone has told him makes him look wise.
Show me the market for Chelsea's relegation.

I’ve not had a great day, but I’ve not been outwitted by Kemi Badenoch, a very stupid person, so it’s not been a disaster.

In v good news, my close friend’s parents got out of Tehran on Sunday and are safely asleep in spare room.

I’ve a lot to say about the wide misunderstanding of the history, religion & politics of the area and the misunderstanding of where, which and why alliances exist, but none of it for online.

I’ve been really curious over the last few years how so many, well, massive nerds seem to be into football, but in a theoretical or statistical (expected goals? Oh do fuck off) way.

And seeing a thread, the penny dropped: its computer games & football is just FIFA/football manager but on telly.

I will never not be agog at the ridiculousness of the “awards”season.

Imagine if any other professions spent nearly three months (a quarter of the year) touring around being told how wonderful they were.

“Sorry, no bins to be emptied between January and March during awards season.”

In defence of Erich Von Daniken, I learned as an early teenager to avoid the boys reading him and stuff like his.

This has held me in very good stead all my life.
