My thinking is they know this will fail but the church protest is the closest thing they have to a sympathetic narrative in all this so they're trying to draw the public eye towards it (+ they hate CNN + DOJ is stocked with anti-abortion weirdos on a revenge kick)

Election Assistance Commission leaders are now briefing secretaries. Chair Don Palmer notes that the FY26 NDAA requires the EAC to do penetration tests of voting systems. The EAC is working with MITRE on a pentesting exercise for election-night reporting systems.

I don't think people understand that if you shut down the government, ICE and CBP do NOT shut down. They're funded by supplemental money from the BBB. That's why dems are separating the DHS funding bill and asking for restrictions. I want them to demand a rescission of that funding or shut DHS down
