Favourite leaves to walk through this lunchtime?
I think beech leaves (crispy, nice colour and shape), but oak leaves are a pleasant shape. Sycamore have best range of colours tho. Red maple are appealing but a bit spidery. So beech it is. Glad we’ve cleared that up. Important stuff

Favourite leaves to walk through this lunchtime?

I’m having a weird run of earring drama …
Today: lost earring on the stairs at work while yanking off my lanyard
Last week: found someone’s earring on the stairs at work
Two weeks ago: stone fell out of my earring and down the plug hole while in a hotel for work
My ears are basically not safe 🙉

I’m having a weird run of earring drama …

Walking through the train to get a cuppa and I couldn’t *not* see someone’s laptop screen where, in size 80 font, she was typing ‘We must chase Comms about this’

My first time seeing La Bohème - such beautiful dialogue and music - ‘we love light-heartedly’. And extra special when performed by the Ukrainian National Opera, who ended the evening with their national anthem 💙💛

One for Greek mythology nerds - from Paphos, Cyprus. When a mosaic is so detailed that you can see their emotions: ‘Hippolytus looks embarrassed while reading his stepmother, Phaedra’s, love letter. She anxiously awaits the young man’s reaction.’
