My second watercolor portrait commission for a great local family. Mr. Bill wanted a portrait with his beloved motorcycle before selling it. We met over the summer to take photos for the project. Painting the bike was more complex than I expected but a fun challenge and quite meditative.

I may try to do a few watercolor badge commissions this time around. I might be reaching out to see if I can find a few volunteer guinea pigs to help me practice that process, since it's new to me.

Nothing quite like the little thrill that comes with going down a weird rabbit hole, requesting way too many books from the library, getting a notice that your interesting books are ready for pickup, and then taking home your big shiny pile of books to peruse. Guilt free knowledge shopping spree!
