Having someone like Palhinha available to come on and steady us when Villarreal were threatening is probably the single biggest reason we were able to get over the line. We've all seen us concede late goals before in games just like this one, and having him available was huge. #COYS #THFC

The one thing I've not seen commented on about today's game is how frickin' clean Sarr's hit was. Perfectly lofted, just the right amount of pace, right in the middle of the goal. With 3 goals in preseason already, the guy might just be our secret weapon this season 👌 #COYS #THFC #Spurs

I'm not saying that sacking Ange is unequivocally the wrong thing to do, or that keeping him is unequivocally the right thing to do. It's complicated; trophy, but also 17th. But after what he's delivered, I think us fans and the club as a whole do owe him the benefit of the doubt.
