As I've gotten older, I think I've matured on musical tastes. I still like the same stuff, but also like stuff I used to hate.

I met a dude from Guyana who taught himself how to do recording in the jungle outdoors. He recorded me in Central Park NYC and mixed the audio and video of this. Would definitely do this again with him.

Personally I love rhyming, I love the challenge of it. It's built into the editing phase, after the first few drafts take shape. But for me that's fun. I'd never suggest that anyone play those word games if it's not serving their vision.
It also helps me remember the words sometimes...

Timely post, I was just thinking about how my favorite Xmas song (Tom Waits' "Christmas card...") has no rhyming or repeating chorus. Pure storytelling, which is really what he does best anyway. He has plenty of great examples backing up your counterproposal.

I am super late to the party but "One Battle After Another" lived up to the hype. I can't remember a movie this long that managed to sustain such an engagingly high level of stress throughout.
I am not a big PTA fan, either, the hype around his films rarely lands for me, but this one is deserved.

The only way to fix this is to crack down on blocking the box and crosswalks. I hope we can evolve our enforcement to meet the moment and further entrench the success of this policy.

The first few months of this were life changing for me, and even with the recent regressions it's still better.
However I'm lucky because I don't need a walker or wheelchair. Those who do cannot squeeze between the drivers who refuse to wait, and cram into the far side of the intersection.

I fully support the policy, but the drivers who still come are the worst of them. Try walking down 9th Ave around 8-9am. When you get near 38th (tunnel), it's as bad as ever.

You are not wrong. But having this come out alongside Stranger Things 5 is seriously unfortunate. That show is also dumb fun but it just lands everything it does so much better.
The sad part is that ST blatently co-opts much of the framework that made "It" good in the first place. Just... better
