It's with heavy hearts that we share that Claude, our beloved albino alligator, has passed away at the age of 30. Claude brought joy to millions of people at the Academy and across the world during his 17 year tenure. We will miss him dearly. 🤍

This is a #CSS solution to a problem I ran into last year where some mobile browsers combined hover & touch events, leading to accidental clicks of non-visible links.
It was a pain to troubleshoot but adding a 1ms animation to "pointer-events" cured all ills.

This is a #CSS solution to a problem I ran into last year where some mobile browsers combined hover & touch events, leading to accidental clicks of non-visible links.
It was a pain to troubleshoot but adding a 1ms animation to "pointer-events" cured all ills.

I must continue to insist that this is not a strong regime. It does not have the kind of pan-societal support needed to enforce Gleichshaltung. It has significant elite buy-in and a small popular coalition, but it is brittle and feeble and will collapse if pressed hard enough.

Escaping abusers who flip the blame is self-care, just as resistance is an act of love. Please ground yourself in the root of your compassion, as you persist against white-toothed grinning salesmen telling the cameras that you are somehow the problem. Far from it! AI crawlers seemingly trying to shut down the independent internet, needs to be news. It's in tech news, but this isn't just "geeky stuff"! I couldn't fathom why they'd tank us while scraping us, but then I realised that it's not shoplifting, it's scorched earth making stolen goods more valuable. 🤬
