Core belief #4

No war. No glory. War is state-sanctioned murder.

There's no excuse for triggering a war, but it seems reasonable if a country is attacked it can defend itself. Nonetheless, the age-old practice of armies murdering their enemies (or civilians) is mankind's greatest curse on itself.

There are dozens of types of intelligence, maybe hundreds.

Every learned ability mediated by the brain is a form of intelligence.

Recognizing faces, memorizing numbers, storytelling, dancing with grace, etc. In theory everyone is someplace on the spectrum for each skill.

Once again we run up against the "Is he lying or just that stupid?" debate.

With Trump there is no clear answer, but Musk is of roughly average intelligence and his whole empire is built on being a Munchausen-level liar about everything.
Once again: there is zero valid reason to put a data center in space. In addition to the launch costs and inability to service them, you need significant cooling infrastructure. The only reason to do this is a) you are an idiot, or b) you are grifting money from idiots.

Objective facts exist and are sacred.

Understand them and pay attention to *why* you believe them to be true. Remember them when they come under attack from scoundrels. Have the courage to speak important truths, and let the chips fall where they may.

The origin of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 has apparently been identified as rats & mice in Mexico City. It was in samples taken there in 2020, a year before being identified in humans in Botswana.

There must be hundreds of thousands of people, maybe millions, who watched "Back To The Future III" without ever having seen the first two films. I'd love to interview some and ask them what they thought it was about.

He. Will. Not. Move. On.

The win for Trump is more negotiations, more threats, keep the issue alive for as long as possible.

The so-called adults in the room are no longer trying to manage Trump, They're encouraging him, weaponizing him. Their language is more explicitly belligerent than his is.
