Real person. Software developer. Novid. War is murder. No kings. No crypto. No AI slop. I love science, arts, health research, environmentalism, and commas.
Yeah but this seems extremely minor. Trump is literally receiving cash payments in exchange for favorable national security decisions from 5 or 10 different foreign countries and a similar number of corporations.

Very Picard. He's also an archaeology wonk.

I recently got the exact same deal from the New York Times, which I accepted.

They're factoring into the pricing that you'll forget to cancel after a year, but really this is what newspapers should cost for online-only.

... What if Trump were to threaten some really high tariffs?

I hate to tell you how much of this numerology is formally used when analyzing stock prices as well, and they exhibit the same behavior.

It's always amazing to me how much advice is given by doctors that is based on hardly any research, but it just makes sense or they heard it through the doctor grapevine.

And yet they HATE it when patients research their own conditions.

He didn't even say "percent", but he's getting closer. Nonetheless I would bet any amount of money he'll be back to saying 500% or whatever sooner or later.

Amazon also used to have a pretty good full-text search on perhaps millions of books, and not just public domain books, but I think it's been gone for years.

Once again we run up against the "Is he lying or just that stupid?" debate.

With Trump there is no clear answer, but Musk is of roughly average intelligence and his whole empire is built on being a Munchausen-level liar about everything.
Once again: there is zero valid reason to put a data center in space. In addition to the launch costs and inability to service them, you need significant cooling infrastructure. The only reason to do this is a) you are an idiot, or b) you are grifting money from idiots.

The origin of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 has apparently been identified as rats & mice in Mexico City. It was in samples taken there in 2020, a year before being identified in humans in Botswana.

I can't explain it but somehow Trump enjoys this. All these operations are done wildly incompetently because on some level he WANTS the world to know he's done all these crimes and got away with them and nobody can stop him.

Not just the theft, treason, bribes, but even stuff like this.
