She doesn't believe that government should be providing any services to Albertans, she believes that private companies should be used universally to provide services.

I concluded this weeks ago. They didn't hide it.

The UCP didn't have to use the notwithstanding clause. They wanted to, in order to avoid an arbitration process they knew they'd lose.

I know the UCP line is “healthcare like Europe” but these people don’t have a collectivist bone in their bodies. In the European countries they’re nodding to, taxes support a well-funded public system alongside a well-regulated private one. The UCP won’t do that.
