Specifically, he says the reporter's questions are *insubordinate*. Like the press owes him deference.

Any MSM owners or editors or leaders out there with any pride at all? Any dignity? Any spine? [tap tap] Hello?
Q: Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?

TRUMP: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him an insubordinate question

I think one of the hardest things about waking up to find one’s self middle aged is realizing the time I was spending /preparing/ myself to do what I wanted was actually the time I ought to have simply been doing those things.

I have approximately zero following on this app, sharing in the hopes it can get in front of the right person. A man I went to college with’s wife was kidnapped by ICE at a green card hearing, and he’s trying to find a reporter who will speak to him about the situation

Water heaters in US housing have ~6x more energy storage capacity than all grid-connected storage. Predictive water heater controls could help grid reliability/efficiency, but used to require costly flow meters. My student Levi Premer invented a way to infer water flow using only temperature data.
Purdue tech predicts water heating usage to improve energy efficiency of residential systems
An algorithm developed at Purdue University could improve water heater efficiency by deriving water flow measurements through the inlet water temperature and inherent temperature readings.

@volts.wtf cool ep w Michael Grunwald, but curious on your further thoughts re: collections as an approach to reduce food waste into landfills (& the resulting methane)

You mention approaches don’t seem scalable, but modern trash has scaled >= nationwide w/ a similar approach. What am I missing?

An interesting thread (no pun intended)
There aren't many bespoke tailors in the US bc the cost of living is too high. To pay $3.5k rent, you need to make $10k/ month, which won't happen as a tailor, let alone an apprentice. If you move to a cheaper area, there will be fewer customers and shops. This is why we need affordable housing.
