Spent 30 days writing a piece that will now likely get me put on one of Trump's gulag hit lists.

From Palestine to Rwanda to Armenia and beyond, the acknowledgement of genocide is often downplayed for the predictable comfort of meticulously crafted denial, and the financial comfort of control.
The Discomfort of Truth: Why the World Excuses Genocide in Palestine
JJ Hastings It is a damning indictment of the global conscience that, once again, the machinery of mass atrocity grinds forward, and the default international posture is not outrage or intervention…

Some Kentucky Republicans want to ban naturalized Americans from holding public office, as the GOP drives ever-further into xenophobia. www.lpm.org/news/2026-01...
Immigrant citizens would be barred from local, state offices in Kentucky under proposed bills
A Republican lawmaker has filed two bills designed to keep naturalized Americans and those with dual citizenship from serving in local or state elected offices in Kentucky.

they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.

New: Trio of Dem senators urge Apple and Google to enforce their own terms of service and ban X, Grok apps for their flood of nonconsensual sexual imagery.

I've repeatedly asked both Apple and Google about this for three days. They're completely silent, seemingly hoping the question just goes away.

“Turning a blind eye to X’s egregious behavior would make a mockery of your moderation practices,” three Democratic senators wrote to Apple’s and Google’s CEOs.

The identity of the ICE agent who murdered Renee Nicole Good: Jonathan Ross. He was involved in *another* vehicle-related incident last year, where he also pulled his gun.

I've got the details from Ross’ own trial testimony & updates from yesterday's Portland shooting.

Senator Smith is right. ICE must immediately withdraw from Minneapolis to prevent further escalation. I am horrified by eyewitness accounts of masked ICE agents shooting someone in the head and killing them.
A US citizen has apparently been shot by ICE agents in Minneapolis. I’m gathering information, but the situation on the ground is volatile.

ICE should leave now for everyone’s safety.

We’ve reached a point where people aren't just surviving capitalism; they’re performing it for applause ala SeaWorld seals.

Yet when you try to pepper them gently with a little constructive criticism popcorn, they don't delightfully spray you with water or flap their meaty seal arms; they get mean.

No, it was a successful coup. None of the people who led it were punished, and are in fact back in power, rewarded for their efforts to break the system by running it. Donald Trump is currently the dictator he attempted to become 5 years ago, and it’s because nobody treated trying as a crime.
We must speak plainly: January 6th was an attempted coup. It was an effort to nullify millions of lawful votes and subvert the will of the American people.

Last week, TikTok gave me account strikes and took down videos for "misinformation" that included full sources with links, verbatim legal filing language, and statistics that were triple verified before the video was posted.

I appealed it, and wanted to share that I won and the videos reinstated.

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

Impeachment is the obvious elephant in the room. But there are other things you could say! WPR resolution. New legislation. Standing firm on the upcoming shutdown for once. Literally anything. Just say what you would actually do if you had the votes and then vote that way. It's not that complicated!

"but Rs will vote against it so we can't even say it" seems to be the line.

What this misses is you can't denounce and campaign against them for refusing to do something you won't even advocate. And it sounds pathetic to vaguely insist something must be done with zero about *what* should be done.

Publicly and repeatedly demand impeachment or resign.

If you do neither, go ahead and pack your office because you’re losing your next election.

IMPEACH NOW.
