When Girl Meets World was airing, I always felt the leads were like a young Francine and Katchoo from the Strangers In Paradise comic. Recently watching Sabrina Carpenter's Manchild vid, this shot made me think of her as Katchoo again, partly because the dancing guy in the background feels very SIP.

So... Doctor Who's reality is now not ours at all what with Mavity and Ernest Borgnine returning from the dead. Unless... When The Doctor nudged reality to bring back Poppi, did that also correct some of the changes? Did The Doctor resurrect Ernest Borgnine and then re-kill him? What is happening???

Okay, The Paper is set at a Toledo newspaper and officially tied to The Office. Toledo and Scranton aren't next door but in the same general part of the country. So, given the newspaper setting, might the Scranton Strangler plot continue? Even be solved?

With all his tweaking the timeline, what the hell did Marty McFly change that it's 2025 and I can't hydrate a pizza??? I'd ask the same about hoverboards but if I had one of those I would be crippled immediately.
I miss the old Law & Order trope: every episode starts with some poor person stumbling onto a dead body. The new tropes are okay - mid episode suspect chase, one of the leads having to have a personal connection to every case - but I miss the couple having their date ruined by a murdered cowboy.

When I was a kid it took me a long time to get into music. Always wondered why. I grew up in the 70s. Listening to an American Top 40 show from 1975. Up to #34 and suddenly thinking, ohhh, this is why. This is terrible.

Week to week, Doctor Who is restoring my faith in it. Although this is an episode where I do have to ask where the hell the Tennant Doctor was. I know he's kind of retired but, seriously? He wouldn't show up all kinds of riled up if a bunch of chumps did all that to his friends???

Awhile back I bought a digi collection of all the Amazing Spider-Man comics. Decided to read them all. The start surprised me. The comics are simpler with... questionable logic. Space capsule falls into an irregular orbit. So irregular Spidey can reach it in a jet as it flies in the air over NY.

I, ugh, hate to say I kinda agree. I'm not a hater. I so want the show to rock but even as much as I enjoyed Lux and I like the current Doctor... Its not on par with its best years. Better than the last Doctor but... sigh. And for the record I have been a fan of all the Doctors just not the writing.

Took a shower and my cat Oliver, who is fascinated with water, sat on the edge of the tub watching and occasionally sticking a paw or his head in, getting a little wet. After, I'm drying off with a towel and he ran over literally to get dried off too. Like, uh Dad, that's how showering works. Duh.

Just watched The Substance and while it was doing permanent damage to my brain I enjoyed clocking the various film and director nods. But looking online I'm kind of surprised I didn't see anyone mentioning Coraline. The yellow coat. The dual identies themes?

Weird. Watching One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, get to the guy freaking out about his cigarettes and starts chanting, "I want something done!" over and over. It reminded me of Hawkeye on MASH getting mad at the bad food and chanting, "We want something else!" but apparently there's no connection.
