When Girl Meets World was airing, I always felt the leads were like a young Francine and Katchoo from the Strangers In Paradise comic. Recently watching Sabrina Carpenter's Manchild vid, this shot made me think of her as Katchoo again, partly because the dancing guy in the background feels very SIP.

So this is Oliver. Before we adopted him, he was the kitty who put all the other kitties waiting for homes at ease. So, little photo shoot today. First one he literally smiled for. Second one he was not happy with and so gave me action poses he did love.

First Hazel the skinny stray who decided she lived at our apt. Next, in the patio eating. Other cats would bully her & take her food (very bad at being feral). On her back haunch you can see where another cat chomped her so we had to take her to the vet & adopt her. Last, is our happy indoor cat now

Okay, this took me off guard. Back to "famous people who were in movies before they were famous" I was shocked to realize Carrie Preston from True Blood and Elsbeth was in my Best Friend's Wedding. WHAT???

Love watching a movie or TV show and having someone pop up before they were famous. Not paying attention watching The Karate Kid II, hear a familiar voice and there's a pre-Law & Order BD Wong showing up for a single line of dialogue as Kid In The Street.

Our cats come from different backgrounds with different past stresses. But they are figuring it out. For us, this is them having an amazing cuddle. Lol. We will take what we can get.

Watching a doc on the kids show The Electric Company and realizing how much it impacted my comedy tastes as a kid. Then that got me looking up cast members only to discover Hippy from The Abyss was part of the show's Shirt Circus singing group!
