The ageism in k-pop fandoms is so intrinsically tied to misogyny, that it makes me rage. Men are never told to give up their hobbies and interests once they reach a certain age. Men are never told they need to pay taxes and take care of their kids instead enjoying that football game or comic book.
Sorry about the need to use an image (all text in ALT). A million threads are not fun for anyone. I wanted to, once again, address the issue of ageism within fandoms after seeing a hideous attack on an ARMY account on Xitter.
