There are so many wonderful, passionate people in every part of comics and manga publishing. Unfortunately, the publishing industry will not hesitate to exploit that passion.

I am constantly blown away by the quality of retouch that is delivered by letterers on English localizations of manga. It's work that requires an incredible amount of knowledge and skill to do well, and then they still have the lettering to do!

Some insight on why Kagurabachi simuls look different.
∙Simuls are lettered within 24 hours
∙Some letterers do 2-3 simuls (same day)
∙Chapters can arrive at random times
∙Corrections are done in-house, & text needs to be editable
∙It needs to be a font we have a license for

Feeling really fucking great about my international flight later this week...
First Boeing cutting corners on safety and assassinating witnesses the night before court testimony, and now something like 7 plane crashes in the last month after Trumpito guts the FAA for no fucking reason. I’ll not be flying anytime soon.
A Delta flight carrying ~80 passengers from Minnesota appears to have crash landed at Toronto Pearson Airport. No casualties reported as of this time. Numerous photos and videos have been released showing passengers safely exiting the plane, which flipped upside down. At least 8 people injured.
