June 27 sees the release of @tumultuousruin.bsky.social’s ’Never A Night So Dark’ EP!

West Coast black metal artist Ryan has been a steadfast friend to the RABM community with his quiet strength, kindness and leadership.

Note, do not eat the squishy things that come with the Black Metal and Dungeon Synth tapes. They are not edible. I speak from experience.
ordering from fiadh 💌

will pre-ordered tapes come on time? unfortunately delays happen often, i don’t control production 😔

will pre-ordered tapes come with a bunch of trinkets, stickers, squishy animals & extra stuff? yes, i DO control this part! ✨

Listening to a podcast I just found out about Charles “The Milwaukee Midget” Fischer. A wrestler from the 30’s who’s the same height, weight and measurements as me. I knew I’d been here before!

Remind me why, after wandering the earth and living in multiple places where it’s never below 20c… I chose this. Not that I don’t love being a Canadian now but…

Nobody who thinks they're tough will ever be 'coalminer by day, out in his pants on Burnley Athletic Ground in the fog and freezing temperatures wrestling on frozen grass until they bleed by night' kinda tough.

Currently watching Invasion USA, the first movie Chuck Norris made after getting the sassy little curtain bangs that would become his trademark. The confidence is just radiating off him!

In that quiet time, before the sun has really risen, with coffee in hand and cat… wrapped around my neck currently, I think about Teotihuacan, Çatalhöyük, Mohenjo-Daro and how if we just pull a Taosi circa 2,000 BCE we could all probably live happier lives.

Dr Lodder describing me, himself and King Edward VII all at the same time.
In so many ways, I'm with Bertie all the way. Tattooed, kinky, and always wearing turn-ups.
Finally, there's the question of whether you should get cuffs. According to lore, King Edward VII popularized cuffs in 1890 when he started rolling up his trousers to keep the hem dry in bad weather. This is why some tailors still call this detail "turn ups."

1/2Posted this, then took it down, now up again. I used to make things. In my late teens to mid-20’s I was painting, sculpting, writing, recording feverishly. Always anonymous and left in public. Then I grew up and got a “real” job and got sad. Now I make things again, why?

A fun thing about Freyja, she loves Hot Wheels. When I first got her she didn’t have much interest in traditional cat toys so, on a whim, I picked up a toy car in a grocery store. The skittering sound of their wheels is her favourite thing but she does get massively overstimulated.

this confirms something i have long suspected, which is that certain people are told that their professional and academic failures are because of “affirmative action” or “DEI” as a way to avoid difficult conversations about their mediocrity www.wsj.com/lifestyle/ca...
You Blamed DEI for Hurting Your Career. Now What?
For people who pin their failures on diversity, corporate America’s DEI retreat removes a barrier—or maybe an excuse.

Freyja, when I first got her she’d been labelled “aggressive” for attempting to rip off the shelter vet’s face to wear as a mask. It took a while but now she lets me cradle her like a baby, others should still consider wearing welding gloves. Not sure who rescued who but she’s the love of my life.

The trans community needs allies, and we encourage those who are able to donate to trans charities if they can. We'll be donating to The Outside Project's new shelter in Hackney (link below).

The study reveals that leadership in these groups is flexible & shifts depending on the situation!
