I grew up in Cincinnati and never did we have the Northern Lights in my childhood! Or in the 6 years of adulthood I spent in the north. But now they got it two years in a row???

All my life I was told I was Jewish, I was stopped by Hasids on the streets asking me to wrap Tefillin, I was invited to Jewish holidays from strangers, etc.
The ONLY time I’ve been told I’m NOT a real Jew is when I criticize Israel.

Last year in the spring was my first time chanting Torah and it was during Chol HaMoed of Passover and since it’s Chol HaMoed of Sukkot I was asked last week if I could just do my same one again and I said yes, the. forgot to even study it until today 😪 Luckily there are swaths I still remember

Me in 2017: I don’t see the point of rainbow crosswalks because there are so many other ways for us to be represented and that money could be used to help LGBTQ people in other ways
