They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

The conclusion I mostly draw from this is the shocking inability of sections of the U.K. media to report accurately, rather than being propaganda mouthpieces for a nasty right-leaning world view. But never believe that ‘Trump’ could not happen here.

The funny thing about domain verification is that there are so many top level domains and no company can get them all. Therefore, I got the nytimes.lgbt domain to be able to create an account to criticize them for their transphobic coverage.

This is why I'm giving Bluesky a try. I haven't used twitter in years, but it appears my friends may leave Facebook, so I'm here in the hope of kinder interactions. With people who remember the humanity of the person behind the screen.
