Great piece by @oriion.bsky.social and a great representation of what research suggests is more the norm than the exception. Detransitioners generally do not identify as cisgender even after detransition and often do not regret their transition.

Her gender transition set her free. So did her detransition.
The joy that Adriana Del Orden feels in her body could have only come through transitioning. She’s tired of being told that she ruined her life.

2025 has been a world-historically bad year for humanity but I’ve noticed that I’m in a much better place mentally/spiritually than I was at this time last year, which is nice

Picnic At Hanging Rock turned out to be a good movie choice for my birthday. Lots of jesscore vibes, horror-adjacent oneiric period drama with femininity confronting or being absorbed into the cosmic unknown, etc.

The Exorcist 3 was pretty cool. A Cantankerous Old Guy movie in the best possible sense. Lots of interesting choices and a surprising sense of humour. Ending kinda sucks tho
