This is a huge indictment against NIMBY policies in blue states. If big city Dems can't figure out how to build more housing and lower housing costs as soon as humanly possible we will continue to pay a heavy political price.

Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Shit like this really pisses me off. Everything Biden did to restore norms and show impartiality and transparency was just thrown in his face and led to Trump’s victory and now all that is going to go away again.
thinking again about how Trump's WH corruptly didn't release visitor logs, Biden reinstated the practice, and the upshot of those decisions from the press's perspective is that they wrote a false story about how Biden has Parkinson's using the logs and put it on the front page, timed to damage Biden
