Sigh. It didn't last long... the clouds came back this afternoon, and it's been dreary AF. Ugh. I might need to get one of those UV therapy lights next winter.
You don't realize how real seasonal depression is until the sun comes out one day in February, and you start feeling so much better. I didn't know how much I needed that. The past couple of weeks haven't been easy.

Does anyone else feel overwhelmed by the absolute shit show our world/country is right now and the fact that we have to keep going on doing all our stupid little tasks despite it all? It all feels pointless a lot of the time.

I am trying to get back into the groove after having a particularly difficult week. I moved into a new place last Friday and all the change set my nervous system into overdrive putting me in panic attack mode. I was lightheaded and nauseated for about 5 days straight. It was not fun.

Probably going to start using FB/Instagram/Threads a lot less and using this app a lot more after Meta's latest policy changes. I left Twitter for the same reason, but it's hard to leave Meta completely when I have to use it for work. Sigh, one of the downsides of working in marketing.
