I think MLF is a top 5 playcaller and offensive designer in the NFL. This season has been frustrating, but imo that’s mostly because of the nagging injuries and the first two games setting expectations so high. He gets too cute sometimes but so do Reid, Shanahan, and McVay

Yeah, it’s often a run play and a pass play or two runs to opposite sides. The play gets changed based on things like how many defenders are in the box that make it generally more favorable to run or pass or if the front is unfavorable for a run call to one side
