Thinking about my dad a lot today. He loved Svengoolie.

So tonight, I'm watching Svengoolie's showing of Frankenstein (1931).

Underrated Christmas album.

Christmas decorating continues.

My dad was hospitalized after Thanksgiving last year and passed away January 2. Last Christmas season was a different one (also my first without Logan).

I'm excited for the chance to appreciate this Christmas season, everything I have, and how far I have come.

🎄♥️💚

Christmas decorating early and I don't know if I've ever felt more like Clark Griswold.

I really like Tetris.
Not exactly a controversial take, I know.

My go-to, wind-down game lately has been Tetris Forever.
It's more documentary than game collection, and it's super awesome seeing all the history laid out like that.

If I ever get turned into a vampire, I'd definitely miss garlic more than daylight.

Sorry, there was a Joel Hodgson/Space Ghost/Screaming Mad George link-up and nobody told me????
In 1998, Cartoon Network commissioned MST3K creator (and CtC guest) Joel Hodgson and his brother Jim to create a new intro for SGCTC. 17 were produced, but were never used. Five of them were eventually released as Easter Eggs on the Volume 2 DVD. Models by Screaming Mad George. Paul Feig played SG

It's usually too hot to do anything during the day in Florida.

I'm taking advantage of working from home and a cool fall day by going on a lunchtime bike ride.

I got my mom Animal Crossing for her birthday in July. She has nearly 400 hours logged.

Tonight she asked to come to my island for the first time to raid my fruit trees for types she is missing.

I haven't played in a while so my island was a mess.

She has a theme park on hers. 😆

What's the point of having an early morning annual exam follow-up if they're so efficient I don't miss any work?

Wanna pull up tough 'cause you notice that butternut was stuffed
Deep in the pans I'm preparin’
I'm hooked and I can't stop sharin'
Oh, baby, I wanna get with ya
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But that butternut you got makes (Me-me so horny)

Having a record for when I want something "spooky, but upbeat" is a benefit to the record collection I've built up over the years.

Telling a narcissist no can be exhausting but it's always worth the effort.

Acceptance or indifference only leads to them trying to take more.

Logan had me add this note to the recipe. He's a trouper though and braved through it (with the help of a mountain of cheese 😄)

It's chili weather and I am here for it.

(New recipe so here's hoping it's good)

After my ex-wife had an affair, I didn't know if my heart would ever be able to trust again.

I'm glad I was wrong, but how does one get to know someone better without crossing a boundary or being a creep?

I'm bad at this, and I think that's a good thing.

I'm home from my work retreat. I can't wait to watch horror movies with a cat on my lap.
November 9, 2025 at 9:56 PM
For the last SIX HOURS the company retreat has consisted of standing around while two coworkers watch college football all day.

If death by boredom was a thing, I'd be a corpse.
