@schumer.senate.gov don’t you dare cut some weasely lame ass deal. Nothing has changed on the ground in Minny.
Here's what ICE is up to in Northeast Minneapolis today. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Warning: video is hard to watch

The images/video coming out of Minneapolis are horrifying but as a Portlander who lived through 2020/21 a word of caution. I can't tell you how many out of state friends texted/checked in on "how I was doing" thinking our city had burned to the ground.

I don’t care how many injuries or missing guys. Blazers are sloppy, unfocused, no discipline and clueless. The accidental coach needs to go. #RipCity

Can you imagine if the @timbers.com had the ambition and energy to go out and get this guy?
Add in their star No. 9 for another $400k, which means they spent less than $1m total on one of the best spines in the league.

And the guy who was their director of recruitment during that era is currently a free agent.
The Whitecaps are deservedly ahead in the Western Conference final, and they acquired their lead defender and midfield focal point for $525,000 in *total*.

Watching Vancouver utterly dismantle San Diego in this first half it’s clear how far the Timbers are from actually competing for a Cup. Tactically and talent wise the gulf is massive. #rctid

From stonewalling at every turn for many months to rushing it into law in a matter of hours isn’t at all suspicious or sinister. Not at all.
Senate Republicans were so eager to dispense with the Epstein measure that they agreed with Schumer to declare it passed by unanimous consent--even though it has not formally been sent over by the House yet. It may land on Trump's desk tonight.

It is a well known in the business world that many times mediocre to subpar managers will surround themselves with individuals even less competent in order to make themselves look and feel like a leader. This trick is also called "how to make a business fail". #rctid

If I was the owner of a sports franchise with numbers like these I would be asking some hard questions of the individual (s) who constructed this team. #rctid

DDC is infuriating. If you took names off the kits and didn’t tell me their status I would think he was a T2 call up not our highest paid player. #rctid

Timbers have to be so smart and patient out of possession tonight. San Diego wants and invites high pressure. They are so comfortable in tight spaces in possession and absolutely ethered us last game when they broke our first line. #RCTID

Coming back to this. Thus was absolutely insane. Like on what planet is that not a handball? My six year old. SIX looked at me and said “he hit it with both hands Dad!”
I do not know the level of cognitive dissonance you have to have as a referee to not give a handball there. Most blatant handball I've ever seen. Guido Gonzales Jr was nominated for MLS Referee of the Year, by the way. #RCTID
