Proud to live in Sacramento. The Bay Area sent a bunch of smart, thoughtful young people here (by not providing them housing or a path to it), and now they’re shaping our city. Sign me up!
Still gobsmacked by this Sacramento Planning Commission meeting. 300 unit project. Tons of public support. Commissioners said state law required them to approve, but that they’d support it regardless. All agreed they’d prefer less parking. 10-0 vote to support. Done in 2 hours. Magical.

So it’s clear this ridiculous letter turned a ton of project SUPPORTERS out.
Despite living ~3 miles from this proposed housing project that would replace an industrial building in urban Sacramento next to a major freeway, we are on the mailing list alerting us to the “nearly a million more vehicles” and other reasons we should communicate our opposition. Um, hard pass.
