There is no broad conclusion to draw from this other than, if the pro-gun pundit with the professional security and the metal detectors and all the alleged good guys with guns nearby, gets shot and killed, how could this not happen to you? In what way is anyone else safer?

The replacement for my #acela ticket is a coach class regional rail ticket that gets me in 4 hours late. Offered no other compensation. No travel credits, meal tickets, refunds. Nothing. @amtrak.com

We have to transfer to a rescue train that is only going to NYC. Then I have to go to the ticket counter to get a new ticket to Boston. Oof. @amtrak.com

Southern California is really living an entirely different life than the rest of the country right now. Clashes between the people and military are now an almost daily occurrence. Why? To prevent our neighbors from being kidnapped and placed in concentration camps.
